If you had an account on the previous version of OPTIMAL (version 2.0), the following information is for you.

Numerous features in OPTIMAL have been improved and/or enhanced, and it may take a little time to get used to all the changes. Please take a moment to read through this, then visit the links to get more in-depth information.

• All of the data you have stored in your account is still available to you. Don't worry; nothing has been removed or deleted.

• The way you login to OPTIMAL has changed:
  • When logging in now, use your email address as your User ID instead of your 4-digit account number.
  • Use the new password that was sent to you. If you didn't receive a new password you may retrieve it through the "Forgot Password" link here: Forgot Password.

• One big difference is that the Calendar now "talks" to the Tracker. You make entries in the Tracker that show when the child or children were actually with you (or legally under your care). This time is now compared against the parenting plan schedule you set in the Calendar. So, one of the key things that you need to do is set up a parenting plan or schedule in the Calendar: Getting Started: What do I do first?

• The Tracker now allows multiple visits per day. To show multiple periods the Tracker has been split so that it uses a "timeline" display and a Notes display. • Another important thing that's changed is the way you record time in the Tracker. We strongly recommend that you take a few minutes and familiarize yourself with how to record time in the new version. These pages cover recording time in detail: Entering parenting time in the Tracker

• The new version of OPTIMAL includes an enhanced Month View with a number of new features. For more information, please visit this page: The new Tracker Month View

  Note: You can read and view all previously stored information, however new information cannot be saved to the previous version of OPTIMAL. Please use the new version of OPTIMAL to save information.

  There are many new features in the new version of OPTIMAL; we recommend that you use the Help icons available in the new version to learn more about these features.
