To make a new entry in the Checkbook, click the "Add New Transaction" button, then fill out the fields in he form.
The fields available to you are:
Check # - The check number. The number is pre-incremented for you, but you may enter any number you want.
Date - The date the check was written. You select this date by clicking on the pop-up calendar button.
Type - Transaction type, "Debit" or "Credit".
Payee - The person or company the check is payable to.
Amount - The amount the check was written for.
Memo - A text field where you may notes about this check, the payee, circumstances, etc. This field is optional.
